The Nuclear Weapon Archive is hosted on multiple sites around the world. To make management of the NW Archive feasible, it is essential that it be built in a portable fashion. Consequently nearly all local links are to sub-pages within the Archive's own page hierarchy. Providing direct links from sub-pages to the home page of the host site is impossible because each of these links would have to changed for each host site -- fatally compromising portability.
